Get Total Suspended Sediment (TSS) Yields
btbr_tss.RdThis function returns Total Suspended Sediment (TSS) yields in Tons/mi2/yr and Kg/km2/yr for different geology types. These observations are then used to generate parameters for theoretical probability distribution functions (PDF) used in the Bull Trout Baseline model.
Arguments
- geology
A character option for returning geology type, e.g. 'all' (default), 'granitic', 'sedimentary'.
Value
A tibble with columns value_tons_mi2_yr and value_tons_km2_yr and associated attributes, e.g. area, total_samples, etc.
Details
The geology methods currently available:
granitic: These values are taken from (Kirchner et al. 2001) and 'personal communication' from (Smith 1984) .
sedimentary: These values are taken from (Erickson et al. 2024) .
